In 90s they ran sanctioned Jet Ski races at Windward Beach in Brick. After Octoberfest ran its course, the Lions moved on to selling funnel cakes at local festivals including Founders Day and Summerfest. In the 70s & 80s they jointly ran the Octoberfest with the Kiwanis Club. During the 50s & 60s funds were raised through youth dances and dinners at it hall on Lions Way. During it’s 74 years of service the Lions fund raising efforts have changed over the years. Since the club’s chartering in 1948, its members have worked on a variety of projects in the local community, such as eyeglass recycling and providing eye exams and glasses for the needy. You are truly helping Lions make a difference in our community.” The Brick Lions club members thank everyone who contributes to this important work.
